NCS Week2 -- CSL8

Dear Parents,

Greetings! Hope you enjoyed the long weekend.

Last Saturday, we worked on the second text of lesson one. Before next week, please:

1. Complete pg. 7-11 in the workbook package.

2. Review the text, characters, vocabs, and structures we learned in class.

3. Copy to or organize your notes to the NOTEBOOK. We have much more information this semester, so it is important to keep track of them.

If you didn’t bring the $15 (textbook package fee) to class last Saturday, please prepare it this week.

Last but not least, if you can not make it to school, please ask for absence IN ADVANCE.

NCS week1 -- CSL8

Dear Parents,

Greetings! Hope the new semester is off to a great start!

It is really good to see our kids back to NCS last Saturday — I have been missing them throughout the break! In class, we started the very first lesson in a new book “MeiZhou Chinese”.

Before next week, please:

1. Complete pg. 1-5 in the workbook package. It is assigned by weekdays, so just finish one page each day.

2. Review the text, characters (plus vocabs), and structures we've learned in class.

3. Most importantly, prepare a NOTEBOOK and bring it to class EVERY WEEK. We are going to learn a lot more new characters and vocabs this semester, so it is important to take notes in class and review afterwards.

Besides, kids will get the new textbook and workbook this Saturday. Please prepare $15 (including textbook, workbook and flashcards) and have students bring it to class.
